Directory of Nature-Focused Livestreams on YouTube

Welcome to our nature-focused livestream directory, a digital gateway designed to bring you the restorative power of the natural world. Viewing nature-focused livestreams can be a powerful tool for well-being, offering measurable benefits such as reduced stress, enhanced mood, and a profound sense of connection to both nature and others. We invite you to explore, escape, and learn, and we hope these windows into the wild offer you a moment of fascination or calm in your day.

This directory emerged from a project that my research team initiated in October 2025 to identify and classify nature-focused livestreams on YouTube. We worked to capture a comprehensive list of 24/7 broadcasts of nature. Since that time, we have been adding new livestreams to our directory and providing our own descriptions of the content.

That said, the digital landscape is fluid. Links may change or experience downtime, and our descriptions are provided as a helpful guide rather than a definitive record. This directory is a labor of love and we recognize it may contain mistakes. We invite you to reach out to us to let us know about corrections or suggest additions.

Contributors to this directory include: Rebecca L.Mauldin, Rajvi Kapadia, Rushikesh Palnitkar, Ramsha Shaikh, Akshay Thakare, Vismaya Prakasan, Abhishek Basnet, Jeffrey C. Skibins, and Keith Anderson. Special thanks to the Social Networks for Social Good Laboratory at The University of Texas at Arlington’s School of Social Work.

Using the Directory

You can interact with the table to find livestreams of interest. Click any column header to sort the table (click again to reverse the order). Use the Search box above the table to filter results—type a word such as bird, reef, forest, or Alaska to display only rows containing that term. Clear the search box at any time to return to the full directory. You can also change the number of rows you’d like to display at one time.

Tip: There are five main categories shown in the first column: Animals in the wild; Animals in captivity; Birdfeeder/feeding station; Scenery mixed; and Scenery pure. Using these categories in the search feature is a good way to screen the list by the type of livestream you’d like to view.
