Directory of Nature-Focused Livestreams on YouTube

Welcome to our nature-focused livestream directory of more than 900 livestreams, which serves as a digital gateway to bring the restorative power of the natural world to you. Viewing nature-focused livestreams can be a powerful tool for well-being, offering measurable benefits such as reduced stress, enhanced mood, and a profound sense of connection to both nature and others. We invite you to explore, escape, and learn, and we hope these windows into the wild offer you a moment of fascination or calm in your day. This directory emerged from a research project launched in October 2025 to identify and classify nature-focused livestreams and has grown into an ongoing effort to discover new livestreams, maintain links, and provide our own descriptions to help viewers find content that matches their interests. That said, the digital landscape is fluid. Links may change or experience downtime, and our descriptions are provided as a helpful guide rather than a definitive record. This directory is a labor of love, and we recognize it may contain mistakes. We invite you to reach out to let us know about corrections or suggest additions.

Using the Directory

You can interact with the table to find livestreams of interest. Click any column header to sort the table (click again to reverse the order). Use the Search box above the table to filter results—type a word such as bird, reef, forest, volcano, Alaska, or Africa to display only rows containing that term. Clear the search box at any time to return to the full directory. You can also change the number of rows displayed at one time.

Search tips: Some searches work better than others. Try searching for exactly what you’d like to see. If a search returns only a few results, try a broader term or synonyms. Examples: search Africa for cheetah; bird for specific bird species; reef, ocean, or underwater for marine environments; or terms like waterhole, forest, migration for a particular viewing experience. There are five main categories shown in the first column: Animals in the wild; Animals in captivity; Birdfeeder/feeding station; Scenery mixed; and Scenery pure. Using these categories in the search feature is a good way to screen the list by the type of livestream you’d like to view.
